Parenting WIN

I have always been boy-crazy. Like, since the age of 3 or something. It's ridiculous.

I was curious when my own little one would start down that path. And, ladies and gents, I think it's starting....

Not only that, her taste seems awfully familiar.

There are so many "things" I want to do with my life. One of which, has always been to go to Paris. Maybe even to live. Hmm, someday. A girl can dream, can't she?! :)

Berlyn inspired me the other day.

Her lovely daycare lady, Katie dressed her in the cutest red and white striped top. She reminded me of a little French girl in it...cuteness!

So, I am picking back up on something I began, oh about 10 years ago:

LEARNING FRENCH!!!

I've got a book, a cassette tape and even, learn in your car on my iPod. Wish me luck! xoxo

If I ever get married (big emphasis on the word "IF"), I would l-o-v-e to do something like this! Or even, for a birthday party (for myself or Berlyn!)...or any other sort of event with the girls.

Glamazon of the Moment: Vanessa Paradis

She's French.
Her voice is heavenly & sweet as pure sugar.
She is beyond lovely & absolutely stunning, in fact.
She's married to....Johnny Depp.

What is NOT to love? Bonus points: She is a Sagittarius.
And, I also "discovered" one of my favorite artists, Chet Baker, because of a Vanessa Paradis song.

{10 Things}

Here's (10) things that make *me* happy:

:1: Berlyn Elise – My daughter. I love her zest for life! And her little giggle is to die for.

:2: My Loved Ones - My family, My friends...I have some great ones! :)

:3: Sushi - I could easily eat it EVERY SINGLE DAY.

:4: Coffee – I love everything about it. Nothing better than sitting outside, sipping some joe. And, the sweeter the better.

:5: David Lynch movies – Brilliant man. Artistic & inspiring in sooo many ways. I always describe his movies as being like "a giant brain puzzle", I will spend hours mulling over what I think his plot was about.

:6: Marilyn Monroe - It is no secret. She is my idol. She is the epitome of feminity for me. Glamour, style, fun. I can't imagine a better female role model, actually.
And, her movies are an instant mood lifter for me!

:7: Billie Holiday's music - One of my all time faves. Classic Jazz is one of my truest loves and joys.

:8: Sugar - I have one of the sweetest tooths around!

:9: Paris - The City. The People. The Fashion. The Culture. Everything about it = LOVE.

:10: Psychology - I am just fascinated by every aspect of the subject. I wish I had stayed in school, mainly so that I could be doing this for a living!

Even better than the real thing?

I have been an "obsessed freak" about many things in my life, but none more than:
Marilyn Monroe....and anything Parisian.

I recently acquired an inexpensive perfume(from AVON) that is rumored to be a knock-off of the classic, and famous, Coco Chanel No. 5 (that Marilyn herself wore).

I don't know if it is or not....but, it sure smells delicious! So sophisticated. And, how can you not love the simple, classic, modern design?

Oh yeah, I am also an obsessed freak about perfume. FYI.
